AFAIC, since nothing less than single payer, universal coverage is acceptable or appropriate, the (so called) public option is a humongous, stinking pile of bull shit to begin with -- it's a waste of time, resources, and energy, it's a non-starter...but whatever. http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/200 ... the_knife/Lieberman Twists the KnifePosted on Oct 27, 2009 By Robert Scheer Is there a more hypocritical figure in American politics than Joe Lieberman? The Connecticut senator declared Tuesday that he would support a filibuster of any health care reform bill that has a public option—even the version with the “trigger” compromise accepted by Republican Sen. Olympia Snowe—because it might cost money. [snip]

OR about double the average cost of a family of four. Apparently, not even this is whorish enough for Lieberscum who is now more-or-less joined by 4 other usual suspects. This the the Democrats lobbyists idea of a way to control costs? For who?

I dunno that I'll be able to make the show this week- really kinda doubt it as it stands now- but could you please please please do the funeral rites for all those fucks who kept chanting and frothing on about "letting the perfect be the enemy of the good" as support for the democratic party but not necessarily the most progressive candidates? Can you? Please? Because letting such tripe go unchallenged just continues to ensure a hegemonistic status quo.
Kick over a wall, cause governments to fall. How can you refuse it? Let fury have the hour, anger can be power. Did'ya know that you can use it?

Yikes this show isn't looking good. Looks like it will be me and the cricket choir because I clearly misunderestimated how many of yall love trick or treating. Oh, I get it, with the robust public option coming, and soon, yall are out to gain 10 lbs and type II diabetes overnight because change has come! I'm going dress as a dumbass who thought it was a good idea to try to do a show on Satan's Sugar Night.

I still have no regular internet access, so I am going to have to sit out the shows for the forseeable future. Keep up the good work.

I'm about to post the blog entries directing people to the Double Ocho, the Micheal Irvin channel, since 77 doesn't connect until an hour into the show. 77 has some weird voodoo...

I'm still game. Not feeling all that great and I'm kind of unprepared, but I figure I can wing it for awhile anyway. Yeah? Yeah.
Eating dinner right now. I'll check back in around 7:30.
