I've been toying with this idea for awhile now. I would like to have us compile an emergency contact list to be used only when someone goes missing or when an emergency arises. I think it would be best if 3 people on the board had the list (so that if one of the list holders has an emergency, someone else could still get in contact with them).
I'm not putting this out there as something mandatory, but if you felt comfortable sharing your phone number and the phone number of a person close to you (in case you, yourself, could not be contacted), it would go a long way to settle the fears of the rest of the board when someone goes missing.
What do you think? Who would you trust with the list(s)? Is a phone number and someone close to you's phone number good enough?
I'm really worried about Kath and wish that we had something in place NOW to check on her!

Mavs, this is just a thought - but have you tried emailing her at the address she used to register? Do you have access to that info?

Well... duh! I hadn't thought of that. Yes, I should have access to that info. I'll go check right now. Thanks for the idea, Mil!

As far as potential members in whom I would trust private contact info, I'd suggest Mavs, Clem, and Sensi/TLG.

The thought has crossed my mind for some time now. I'd be comfortable with these suggestions. Want to start this up in a PM?

Actually, I would propose that MollyKolly fill in for Sensi/TLG (Kris & Kim), only because Kris and Kim have their hands full between the family, Kim's job, and PKRT.
Here's what I propose: Send a PM to either me, Clemmie, or MollyKolly (whoever you feel most comfortable with)
Include your phone number(s) and another person you're close to with their phone number(s)
You can also send me an email at maverickshmb at gmail.com, if you want to.
The three of us can coordinate the compilation of a list that all 3 of us would have easy access to in case of an emergency. Thereafter, if someone goes missing (like Kath), one of us can make a phone call and find out what's happening.
If your contact information changes for any reason, make sure you update the information with one of the 3 of us.
Again, this is NOT mandatory. But if you're like me (and Kath) and living alone, instead of having folks worry about whether you're okay, a simple phone call could be made.

OH!!! Zowanda just reminded me of something when she sent her contact information. It would be really helpful to include your real name. Can you imagine if we had to call you and had to ask for ratbastidface or joetheplumber? Also too include your alternate contact's name, please? Also too? If you want to include your address and other contact phone numbers (such as work, cell, home, etc.) that would be great. I'll throw it all into a spreadsheet.

Molls & Clem, just resent it. It appears my info only went to Mavs. Sorry.
