The symbolic upside is that any Members of Congress not re-elected next year will have as much access to a so-called "public option" as the rest of us. Trigger, Buttercup, Silver, Mr. Ed, Seabiscuit, Barbaro, Opt-in, Opt-out, do the hokie-pokie and turn yourself about - Simon Says, we've been sold out.
President Fierce and the ENTIRE Democratic National Committee sat out the anti-gay marriage campaign in Maine without so much as an email sent out to defend the rights of the LGBT community and from all indications the LGBT community is more than happy to reciprocate in 2010. Grab a hold as we climb back Under The Bus with the rest of the "internet left fringe" as the What Promise 2009 Tour has been extended to 2010 as predicted.
