The Nightmare Ticket: Obama/Clinton ‘08 Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer?
When I hear about this so-called “Dream Ticket”, more like Nightmare Ticket, I can’t help but to throw up a little bit in my throat. It’s the principle behind the tone of the campaign that I don’t like and the idea of having the one who used strategies called “kitchen sink”, “kneecap” and “Tonya Harding” being just a heartbeat away from the office she was more than willing to risk the Clinton legacy, and did for millions of Americans of which I am one, the Clinton’s position in the Democratic Party and their own personal fortune. For someone who says they’d restrict their diplomatic efforts with our adversaries as to “not reward bad behavior”, verbatim to the Bush logic, then I think it’s only fitting to not reward her bad behavior and put her on the ticket. Before Rep. Dennis Kucinich was “uninvited” from the debates, which was started by Sen. Clinton, all 8 of the original candidates were asked what their favorite Bible verse was and Sen. Clinton said her favorite was The Golden Rule. That being said, The Golden Rule should be sufficient in denying Sen. Clinton a spot on the ticket. QuinnipiacUniversity may have a poll out that says Democrats support a “Dream Ticket” 60% - 33% but I couldn’t disagree any more strongly… not on politics but on principle. According to a recent WNBC/Marist poll cited on The Huffington Post an Obama/Clinton ticket would lose New York, one of Clinton’s home states – the one where she’s a Senator, in a hypothetical McCain/Rice matchup losing by 5%. Clinton/Obama polls higher than Obama/Clinton in New York but that’s simply not happening.
For the life of me I can't recall in my life time another politician joking about the death of someone running for national office. The Clinton campaign does with what if there is an "accident" and now Baptist preacher Huckabee.
Are they just putting the message out there for some nutcase that can't stand a black man as President?
One has to wonder.

I was just on my out when I had a pleasant thought:
Unless I'm seriously mistaken, I believe the Hague would be correct in ruling that an outoging American president possesses neither the right, the power, nor the authority to issue a blanket pardon for individuals accused of War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity.
It's simply a matter that rests outside of his jurisdiction.
Smile, dickey-boy! It's been your own administration that's laid the legal groundwork for using the ...
