Description
This week's PKRT centers mostly around the Democratic- led 110th Congress providing checks & balances to Bush's unitary executive philosophy of a de facto dictatorship. The Senate Judiciary Committee led by Chairman Lahey, grills Torturer General Gonzalez on ending habeas corpus and legalizing torture and vows to un-do these abominations to America passed by the rubber stamp 109th Congress. The unitary executive isn't dead as Sen. Feinstein begins to fight the Justice Department firing U.S. Attorneys who have done no wrong only to appoint replacement to serve indefinitely by circumventing Senate approval as passed under last year's Patriot Act reauthorization. The good news is Bush refused to continue circumventing the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act so all new wiretaps should be legal from here on out. The Executive continues to try and take power from Congress and the Judiciary, FOX News Inner Party members confuse the line of make believe and reality by asserting the TV show "24" and it's main character "Jack Bauer" are real and Sen. Chuck Hagel (R, NE) joins the Senate Democrats in opposing Bush's "surge". This week's panelists are Sewah, MollyKolly, Dots and Kristopher Keith.
